A silk satin fabric shade connected to a painted zamak base via a painted aluminum stem. Melampo can be adjusted for direct and indirect light via a novel tilting mechanism. Also available in table andfloor sizes.

About the Designer:
Born in France in 1972, Adrien Gardere creates relevant and innately understandable objects and spaces. Trained as an architect, he works to logically adapt cultural reference points in contemporary mediums whether they be as furniture, wall coverings or museum installations.Since 2004, Gardere has served as Artistic Director for visual arts exhibitions held alongside The Kennedy Centers World Stages international live performance programming.
